In spring 2027, Missoula Makers Collective and Making Missoula will host the second annual Makers and Creative Entrepreneurs Conference, bringing together Montana’s makers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs for a three-day gathering in the heart of downtown Missoula.

Building on the success and connections sparked by our inaugural conference in 2026, the 2027 gathering will continue to celebrate, connect, and strengthen our creative community. Makers and creative entrepreneurs from across Montana and the surrounding region will come together to learn from one another, connect with mentors and industry leaders, share ideas, and imagine what’s possible for the future of Montana’s creative economy.

Over three days, the conference will feature breakout sessions exploring essential topics such as financial management, design, resiliency, marketing, and more. Each session will be led by local mentors and industry leaders who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of building a creative business in Montana and the surrounding region.

This gathering is part of a growing tradition: one that creates space for connection, collaboration, and shared learning, all while uplifting makers and strengthening the communities they call home.
